A Family of Omni Shirts

This is our family of Omni Tempore Shirts from the Sofilantjes Pattern!

We are a family of 5, but my youngest will have to wait a few weeks for her Omni… it is made with a soft plush pocket and hoodie.  She will find it under the tree on Christmas morning.  As will another family member who is getting an Omni shirt specially made From-a-Box.  {shhhhh……}

I recommend Sofilantjes pattern for holiday gift giving.  The pattern is simple to follow and makes up a quality shirt that is stylish.  And for the duration of the tour the Omni Tempore Bundle is 30% off. The child sizes is 20% off and the adult sizes is 20% off, only at Sofilantjes.com – no coupon code needed!

The pattern is available for adults and kids in either a hoodie version or a cowl version.  Plus, short or long sleeves, cuffs at the wrists and/or the waist, and with or without the kangaroo pocket.  And then once the options are decided, then different fabrics can be used on any of the parts.

For my daughter, I made the long sleeve cowl shirt, with no cuffs and a kangaroo pocket.  I used a teal interlock knit fabric and super soft flannel for the neck and pocket.  The size small fits her perfectly.

For my son, I made the kid’s size 12 long sleeve hoodie shirt with cuffs at the wrists and waist, plus the fun kangaroo pocket.  The fabric is a bright green interlock knit, navy ribbing on the cuffs, with another plaid flannel accent in the hood lining and front pocket.

For my husband, I made the long sleeve hoodie shirt in gray interlock knit and nice manly flannel for the hood lining and front pocket.  To keep his hands warm in the pocket, I lined it with a navy fleece.  Because he is a tall guy, I added 2″ to the sleeve length following the pattern directions on a size XL.  I should have added length to the bottom of the shirt too – it came up a bit short on him.

For me, I made the same version as my daughter in black interlock knit and a gorgeous white, red, and black plaid wool blend on the cowl and pocket with no cuffs.  I added 3″ to the bottom of the size medium top to make it a bit longer.  The fit is good on me, and comfortable with jeans and boots.
