Inspired by the upcoming Valentine’s Day, this is the Otium Top from Sofilantjes fashioned as a SWEET BOW top for my oldest daughter.
I think my daughter looks super sweet! This is perfect for her school days in jeans and boots.
I really enjoy Blog Tours! and this one is extra-special because I am a big fan of the Sofilantjes Patterns. With this Otium top, I have now made 5 tops! See the tween version in stripes HERE… see the refashioned girl version HERE… and, see the coordinating tops HERE. (i really enjoy this pattern!)
During the Otium Blog Tour the individual girl’s pattern and women’s pattern are each 20% off, and the combo set of both the girl’s and the women’s patterns are 30% off — no coupon needed….. shop at Sofilantjes.com.
The top is fitted, with long sleeves, and sports a pretty bow in the back. I left off the sleeve cuffs and the waist band. This is the women’s size pattern in a size XSmall for my 17 year old girl.
I made this top in pink and charcoal gray knit fabric on mostly my serger and using my twin needle to finish the binding and hem.
Also during the Otium Blog Tour the generous sponsors are giving away a total of 11 patterns to one super lucky reader. See all the great Otium creations, check out the sponsors, and enter the giveaway at these blogs:
That’s a very pretty top. Doing it without bands dresses it up a bit. I have an almost 17 year old of my own and I’m going to show her this.
