It’s warm weather here and kids need shorts. I used the Canadian Pattern Designer Blog Tour as an opportunity to stitch up some new shorts. These are the Children’s Pants No. 2 (cut off into shorts) from E+M Patterns. One pair is for my 5 year old daughter, and the other pair for her 7 year old friend. This way, I could make shorts for a girl and for a boy using the same pattern just by changing up the pockets.
For Whimsical Fabric’s MAKE IT MINE Design Challenge, I made an umbrella bordered in the Little Red Riding Hood story fabric, and a matching tunic in my other favorites from the Riley Blake fabric line.
I know how you can get these stitched up & on your kids way ahead of Christmas… get the Sleepover Pajamas Project Kit from Whimsical Fabrics. It’s all you need for making up a set of Oliver+S Sleepover Pajamas in holiday fabrics for this seasons’ bedtimes.
I stitched up the Santa’s Workshop Project Kit for my 5 year old.
